All students must meet the appropriate age by September 1st.
LANNA operates on a Northern Hemisphere calendar, with the academic year commencing in August. Our school year comprises two terms: August to December and January to June. Grade placement is based on previous school experience and the student’s age. The school reserves the right to place each student in the grade level it determines most appropriate for his/her school experience.

Should we be able to further consider your application, we will move to the interview and testing phase. Applicants will sit a written test with a strong emphasis on reading and writing skills. There will also be a personal interview. Interview/testing fee is payable on the day. Please see the fee schedule for current testing fee.
A decision on acceptance and placement will be based on many factors including school reports and the entrance test. This will often be communicated the same day as the test but in certain circumstances it could take a maximum of 5 working days.
An offer will be given personally or in writing and once accepted our registrar will check all supporting documents have been submitted. Then an invoice for the enrolment fees will be issued by the accounts department. Payment must be made within 10 working days to secure the place. Please note we will contact your previous school to check for any outstanding financial issues.
