Lanna ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School Thailand is accredited by Duke Edinburgh's ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ AwardThe (Duke of Edinburgh’s) ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Award is a globally recognised certificate that allows students to gain recognition for skills and abilities that can often be overlooked in an academic setting.

The course is designed with the aim of promoting independence and self motivation and for giving students the opportunity to pursue activities that are not traditionally offered in school. Individuals choose a skill, a physical pursuit, and an area of community service, and then work towards achieving self-contrived goals. They also have to take part in an ‘adventurous journey’, which takes the form of an extended outdoor activity like hiking, biking, or even canoeing.

There are three levels: bronze, silver and gold and because it is open from anyone aged fourteen to twenty four, there is plenty of opportunity to continue pursuing higher levels after graduating from Lanna.
