ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. At LANNA ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Secondary School in Chiang Mai, female staff collaborated to put on a range of different events and activities for students to mark this day. Â
Students took part in a quiz during homeroom which highlighted some of the amazing and unusual things that their female teachers have done in their lives. The Thai Department decorated the walkway with posters celebrating a variety of inspirational women from across the globe, and also put on a live exhibition at breaktime.
The theme of IWD for 2021 was #ChooseToChallenge, and students and staff were encouraged to use a “Selfie Booth” to get involved and show their commitment to help build a more gender-equal world and encourage others to help forge women’s equality. A challenged world is an alert world. And from challenge comes change. So let’s all #ChooseToChallenge.
