It is with considerable delight that I am able to share with you some information about Lanna ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School’s latest crop of Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award winners. These awards are issued by Cambridge ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Examinations to recognise exceptional learner achievement in Cambridge examinations around the world. In Cambridge’s words “The primary purpose of these awards is to celebrate and recognise the success of high-performing Cambridge learners“.
This year six of our senior students have been recognised as Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award winners and will have the opportunity of attending a prestigious ceremony in Bangkok, where they will be presented with their awards.
In recent years it has become something of a tradition at Lanna for students to win these Cambridge awards, across a wide range of subject areas, and it is wonderful to see this not only continuing, but the number of award winners increasing.
This year our students have been recognised for outstanding levels of achievement within the Advanced Level examination courses for Mathematics, Music, Sociology, French, and General Studies, and also at IGCSE level for Italian.
We are hugely proud of these successes and, on behalf of the school and the students, I would like to thank all of the Lanna teachers who have been involved with the education of these students, from Primary years right through to their A level teachers; all have played in important role in helping them to achieve such success.
Congratulations are, of course, also due to each of these students for the huge effort and commitment it takes to reach such levels; it is an impressive feat that none of us should underestimate. Very well done all of you, you should be extremely proud of yourselves.
Mr Kevin Pugh
